Moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely in Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Thoothukudi and Ramanathapuram, and in parts of Kanniyakumari, Coimbatore, the Nilgiris, Puducherry and Karaikal.

On November 10 the warning narrows to Ramanathapuram and Thoothukudi, and from November 11 there is no heavy rain warning for Tamil Nadu.
