Dabur India on Wednesday reported a net profit of ₹505.5 crore for the July to September quarter, up 11.7% from ₹452.55 crore a year earlier, as both its home market and its overseas business grew at a healthy pace.

Revenue from operations rose 11.6% to ₹3,563.07 crore, from ₹3,191.32 crore. The company announced the numbers after the market closed. It was the fourth quarter in a row of double-digit profit growth for the maker of Chyawanprash, Vatika and Hajmola, and the second in a row of double-digit revenue growth.

Costs ate into some of the gain. Operating profit rose 7.5% to ₹633 crore, slower than sales, and the operating margin narrowed by 60 basis points.

“We delivered profitable growth despite operating in a challenging external environment,” said Herjit S. Bhalla, Dabur India’s chief executive.

Where the growth came from

The India FMCG business grew 10.7%, with underlying volumes up 5.5%, while the international business rose 20% in rupee terms. Food and beverages was the fastest-growing segment at 17.4%. Home and personal care grew 10.9%, and healthcare 6.9%, helped by strong double-digit growth in digestives, over-the-counter products and ethicals.

Premium brands grew four times faster than regular ones and now make up a fifth of the domestic business.

The board declared an interim dividend of ₹3.50 a share for 2026-27. The record date is November 10, and payments begin on November 25.

Dabur shares had closed 3.45% higher at ₹394.10 before the results came out.
